David Finch set up DGF Engineering Ltd in 2005, his ambition was to run a friendly, approachable workshop, offering a personal, flexible service tailored to each of our customers’ needs to produce quality products at cost effective prices.
As an open shop, he invites customers to visit and view the workshop and examples of their work and discuss in more detail the range of services he can offer such as call off orders over a designated period, discounts on BOMs of machined components, sub assembly and different finishing options.
David and his team offer a range of machining capabilities in standard engineering metals and plastics. The skills of the production personnel and the directors’ wealth of technical expertise, along with the office organisational skills, ensure a smooth transition from enquiry to completed component.
We like to work closely with our customers and their designers to ensure the correct end result at a reasonable cost. All consultations for designing and best methods of machining are included in the service. We can help eliminate potentially costly manufacturing flaws at a design stage saving potentially costly production issues.

We continue to invest in CNC and manual machinery to provide our customers with competitive prices at the quality they expect. The use of quality machines and a dedicated team of precision engineers ensure that accuracy and quality is machined into every component we manufacture.
We would be pleased to quote on any requirements you may have either now or in the future. We aim to turn most quotations around within two working days. However, if we have to obtain quotes from a third party, such as finishing companies, this may take a little longer.
